Age Suitability & Content

In short: Cinna does not produce, host, distribute, censor, or modify any content. It is a client application that connects to the AI models and services you choose, using your credentials. Any content you generate or receive comes from those third-party providers, and responsibility for it rests solely with them and with you.
1. Cinna is a client, not a content provider
The Cinna software — Cinna Core, Cinna Desktop, and Cinna Mobile — is a client for building and running your own AI agents. The OpenCinna project does not operate a content service. We do not author, curate, host, distribute, or supply any text, images, audio, or other content through the software.
2. Where content comes from
Any content you generate or receive while using Cinna is produced by the third-party services you connect and configure with your own credentials, including:
- AI model providers — such as Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google, or any other model API or self-hosted model you set up.
- MCP (Model Context Protocol) services and other tools — external tools and integrations your agents call.
- CinnaCore instances, backends, and servers you connect.
Responsibility for the content generated by or received through these services rests solely with the provider of those AI models and MCP services, and with you as the person who initiates the requests. Each provider sets and enforces its own usage policies, safety controls, and age or content restrictions, which you accept when you use it.
3. We do not produce, censor, or modify your content
Cinna relays your requests to, and responses from, the services you connect. The software does not produce, filter, censor, moderate, or modify the content you own or receive. It does not apply content controls of its own. Any content moderation, safety filtering, or age gating is performed (or not) by the third-party providers you choose, according to their policies — not by Cinna.
4. Your responsibility and controls
Because you choose which providers to connect and what to ask of them, you are responsible for your use and for the content you generate or access. To control the nature of content you may receive, review and configure the safety settings, content policies, and available models offered by your chosen providers. You are responsible for using providers and settings appropriate to your jurisdiction and age.
5. Not directed to children
The Cinna software is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children. Because content originates from third-party AI providers and may be unpredictable or unfiltered depending on the provider you connect, the software is not designed or intended for use by children. 6. Expected age rating (13+)
We expect the Cinna software to carry an age rating of 13+. This is based on the evaluation that Cinna is a client that connects to the same third-party AI models — such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google Gemini — whose own applications are published on the App Store with a 13+ rating. Cinna provides an interface to those models rather than any content of its own, so a comparable 13+ rating reflects the nature of the experience it enables.
As described above, Cinna does not produce, host, censor, or modify content, and the actual content you receive depends on the providers you connect and their policies. The 13+ rating describes the app's expected classification on the App Store; it is not a substitute for the providers' own age and content restrictions, which you accept when you use them.
